CRISI: dopo la Grecia ora nubi sull’Irlanda?

Credit default swap Irlanda e confronto CDS corporate-sovereign

Purtroppo siamo obbligati a riprendere in mano il “dossier” Irlanda anticipato nei giorni scorsi.
Da fonti giudicate attendibili, la BCE sarebbe intervenuta venerdì a sostegno dello stato irlandese. Una situazione che purtroppo era stata prevista ed è diventata realtà in una giornata dove il credit default swap irlandese ha preso la rampa di lancio, decollando verso mete inesplorate.

The European Central Bank intervened to stabilise the Irish bond markets on Friday after a report by a leading UK bank triggered investor fears that the country might turn to the international community for a multibillion-euro bail-out.” Traders said the intervention by the ECB was small – in the tens of millions of euros but the report by Barclays Capital still prompted the International Monetary Fund to state it did not envision that Ireland would need financial assistance.
The Irish government will test investor sentiment on Tuesday with an auction of four-year and eight-year bonds that bankers warn could see the country having to pay high yields to attract demand. (fonte: FT)

Quindi record per il CDS Irlanda ma record anche nello spread tra l’ITRAXX e l’indice medio dei CDS sugli stati sovrani.
Il grafico è veramente paradossale. Lo spread fra i CDS medi dei corporate d i CDS degli stati sovrani si amplifica. Il mercato quindi ha sempre più fiducia nelle aziende che negli stati.
Come sempre sostenuto, il grande problema del futuro è e sarà, innanzitutto, la gestione immane dei debiti pubblici.
